Poppy Brothers are an American electro-pop duo consisting of vocalist James Tillman and producer Matthew Taylor. In 2012 the real life brothers released three radically different songs online which ranged from smooth R&B to thick alternative rock. However, it was the slick electropop gem “One” that caught fire and propelled the brothers to record a full-length album: 2013’s “Mark of the Beat” which featured the duo’s best-selling song to date, “Nights + Weekends”. Shortly after the release of “Mark of the Beat”, the pop duo returned with the even more ambitious collection “End of the Rainbow” which included two new singles with opposite personalties: the confident, appropriately-titled “Massive” and the experimental, minimalist “I Was A Mad Man”.
